PPP

Understanding

Purchasing power parity (PPP) is a way to compare how much money can buy in different countries. It checks if the same amount of money, like one dollar, can buy the same things, like a burger, in different places. If it can, then their purchasing power is considered equal. This helps understand how far money goes in each country.

How it works

Astrid AI is able to determine user's region and provide discounts based on their PPP.

For example, we don't offer the same price for users from India and EU countries, since the amount of money Indian user is ready to spend on our type of service is much lower than if it is EU user.

Instead, we suggest lower price to them and provide less features that are not necessary for them, like Speech Lab or Face Enhance.

This approach allows us to monetize as much users as possible, while providing equal services for all of them.
